Notice to OPR under Section 31 (AM)(6)
As a requirement under section 31(AM)(6) of the Planning and Development Acts, a notice has been sent to the OPR within 5 working days of the Development Plan being made. This notice sets out the recommendations of the OPR that were not complied with in the making of the Plan and the reasons for the decision of the Planning Authority. The OPR will consider whether or not the development plan as made is, in the Office’s opinion, consistent with their recommendations and where they consider that it is not they will issue a notice to the Minister within 4 weeks of the Plan being made. The OPRs notice will include a proposed draft of a direction and should such notice be issued it will be made available by the OPR on its website.
