Reopening to the public

South Dublin County Council will re-open on a phased basis to the public on Monday 29th of June, starting with limited hours in County Hall, Tallaght and opening in Civic Offices, Clondalkin on Wednesday July 1st.

The Customer Care counter and the cash office will be open to the public between 10am and 12pm and again between 2 pm and 4 pm initially, where it is necessary to speak with a member of staff or make a payment. Physical distancing within the building will continue in line with public health guidelines, and so access will be limited to the numbers that can be accommodated in the customer service area.

Members of the public are still advised to contact the Council online through the FixYourStreet platform or on the Customer Care form or by telephone/email where possible. Keep up-to-date on all these facilities, avail of on line forms and Council opening hours on

Access to the Tallaght office will be via Library Square only.  We will have a queue system in place for the customer care counter and cash office, however, there will be post box available for those just wanting to drop off documents for South Dublin County Council. For those with appointments for other Departments, please proceed to the door where you will be asked for details and your identification.
