Park Rangers Educational Programme Launched

The Mayor of SDCC Cllr Alan Edge launched our pilot park rangers’ educational program on Monday 13th November in County Hall Tallaght with the help of the pupils of St. Thomas JNS Lucan.  Our education program is for schools or groups who wish to book a tour of our parks. The rangers can visit schools also to deliver talks on our local parks, play facilities, Wetlands and what SDCC have to offer our local communities. Flora and Fauna, biodiversity, bye laws are topics the rangers can educate our children on.

The Park Rangers are the face of our parks and amenities and have a wealth of knowledge to offer groups in our areas, We have many schools signed up and the waiting list is getting bigger by the day.
