June Update

The Plan was made on the 22nd of June. The plan comes into effect 6 weeks from the date of adoption. A notice will be published over the coming weeks in regard to the making of the plan.

Under Section 31(AM) 6 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended) the Office of the Planning Regulator must be notified about the making of the plan within 5 working days alongside a copy of the plan, maps and details of whether or not the plan complies with the recommendations of the OPR. In accordance with Section 31 (AM) 7 of the Act the OPR shall consider whether or not the Development Plan as made is, in the Office’ s opinion, consistent with any recommendations made by the Office.
