Airton Road Extension

Improved walking and cycling links from Airton road through to Belgard Road and Cookstown,

Project Status-  Part 8 was approved on Monday 14th March 2022 and has an estimated completion date of two years. Detailed design currently underway.

The decision to proceed with this scheme was taken on 3rd November 2022 and recorded on the SDCC Chief Executive Order system.

The EIA and AA screening decision was taken in 2022 and recorded on the SDCC Chief Executive Order system.
